Well at least its still hilarious that the Canucks traded Hodgson for Kassian. Kassian is basically a lazy man's Lance Bouma.

Gotta give huge props to Malarchuk for how far both goalies have come, that's for sure

Nice icing Butler. Don't skate out of trouble or anything.

As much as I agree with this, did they just flick an Oiler switch? They've been one of the hardest working teams prior to the break. Maybe wives talk to some of them more. Who knows?? Maybe having had Christmas with the family and an irrelevant remainder of the season says something.

They should still be professional about it. Can't just be on a winning team to play hard. $ and crest matter too, you'd think. Teammates too.

As well as the Canucks have played lately, I still don't see them as being an elite team anymore. It's safe to say they're gonna get eaten alive in the playoffs, especially if they're playing Chicago or any of the California teams.

Good on Gio for stepping in
My mother thinks that Monahan is the sweetest kid, she just absolutely loves him. She spent some time with him after the game in Detroit and she was so impressed with how polite he was. She said 'He made sure I got to get lots of pictures and told me where to go to see TJ'- very sweet. Kesler better leave him alone- or he'll have to deal with my mom..which could get ugly. LOL

They need a fart soundboard. Whenever Kerr's voice rises above a certain pitch, he rips a good stankin' one.

They never were elite.
They relied on diving and PP goals to win.

I live in the Yukon and as such get the BC feed, normally I'm not a fan but it sounds like it must be a lot better than the pbp on the Calgary feed. I have to say that they keep talking about how long the suspension on the McGrattan hit will be, even though the replay shows a clean hit.

Burke's first order of business should be to retire these jerseys.

Hudler - Monahan - Cammy

Nice to see they moved D. Jones off that line
