These games would be a lot more bearable if Rob Kerr dropped acid during the pregame.

Berra also played most of his starts without the teams best d-man.

There's lots of variables no matter which way you look at it, but I think Berra's showed the most improvement so far and the last month has shown it

If it was no-touch icing there would be no opportunity to beat out the call. As it is, there is...thus hybrid-icing.

But it's not No-Touch icing. No-Touch icing doesn't look to see who makes it to the circle first. It's just icing or not. The hybrid icing requires the "race" to the top if he circle instead of the puck. The two types of icing are very different.

There's certainly a case to be made either way and it isn't a right-or-wrong answer. Personally think Ramo's been a bit better this year but either way it's nice to see the improvements that both goalies have made from October until now.

Sportsnet just showed that the Flames finished December fifth in the NHL in GAA and that's awesome.

If McPhee is in town to see a Flames player here's no way he sees anything he likes so far. This has been an old fashioned paddling with the home team showing very little.
