Now they are announcing when there is 30 seconds left on the penalty. Is that new? Don't think I've heard it before.

As long as they win enough to save Eakins' job...humor should be golden here at CP for times to come!

Bergland with a PP goal...5-5 with 2 minutes to go in regulation.

Crazy ending to regulation in St. Louis. Blues are all over the Hawks.

'Hawks just miss with a set play as regulation ends...gonna be a 3 point game.

I can't help but feel that the referees were a little quick on the whistle all game long...Elliot fumbled a couple pucks, and was bailed by refs a couple times.

Thank goodness WGN has the Blackhawks game, too bad it did not start thirty minutes later to avoid more of the Oilers game. The Blues came back to tie it up on the power play, 5-5 going into overtime.

Going to the skills competition in St. Loo...all 'Hawks in OT, Elliot held the Blues in there.

Boy the Oilers are becoming as good at diving as what the Canucks are. And il'll say it again, the Oilers get more breaks from the officials than any team in the league.

It's not that they are favoured by the league, it's that NHL refs always favour the team that is losing in the game. When a team is losing by two goals in a game they'll get away with almost everything and will get every chintzy call in their favour.

The Oilers happen to be losing almost all the time, hence all the calls.

Although last night has to be an exception.

Disagree...Toronto gets more than their share of calls at home, too.

Blues win it in the shootout.

Crazy scoring summary in the Kings-Predators game.

At 16:42 of the third period, Fisher scores on the power play for the Predators 2-1 lead.

The Kings tie it at 19:23, Carter's goal. Ten seconds later, Fisher scores the winning goal. Nashville wins it in regulation, 3-2.

The Ducks win 3-2 in overtime. The Coyotes tie the game in the final minute of regulation time from Ribeiro.

Edmonton getting outshot 12-1 in the second so far.

They get so excited by one period they can't even show up for the next one.

It never gets old hearing the experts gush about edmonton and ask nugent-hopkins about this team turning the corner, only to have the oilers lay an absolute stinker of a period.

The Oilers cheerleaders look like what you'd expect the Oilers cheerleaders to look like.

Strange thing about Bryzgalov - he always ducks when a shot goes high anywhere near his head.

Sort of opposite what you'd expect a goalie to do, no?

Most Goalies do it from what I see. It's kind of a life preservation thing
