Default SOLD: Pioneer Kuro 50" Flat Panel PDP-5010FD

Hello,

I am planning to buy a projector in short order, and replace my Pioneer Kuro. Just to give background this is a videophile grade TV that until last month was considered the best picture of any TV since it's release in 2007.

Although this TV is a 2007 model, it has very low hours of use as a home theatre only TV. Here is the background, it was installed as part of a home renovation before we moved in 2009. Shortly after, our first child arrived and we have had no time to watch movies. So, I estimate no more than 100 hours a year for the last 4 years. This TV is in flawless condition, and fully working order.

Now that our kid is a bit older I want to finally get the projector I have always wanted. I love this TV, it is just not the right size for my home theater. However, if 50" works for you, this is a bargain. Only the VT and ZT 2013 Panasonic models have a better picture than this TV.

Here is a original website: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...sma/PDP-5010FD

Here is original review:
http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-t...-32575966.html

Here are some pics (can give more if needed):

Includes original stand, attached (never used) sound bar (SMW1985-A), and remote.

CP Price: SOLD

Was in Home Theater sales for a number of years with a big box store and I will confidentiality say that this is my personal favorite TV that I ever sold as far as picture quality goes. Unfortunately I am looking for a 50+" TV for my garage where reflection is a concern.... And it's more than I want to pay for a TV for my garage.

But very very good picture in IMO.

This is an excellent set. I own one and it's hard to find a comparable image.

Thanks guys, love my Kuro, and only getting rid of it because family doesn't have a proper use for it (wife won't let me move it to the bedroom). My Dad wanted one to display stocks on his monitor on the wall, and I told him forget it, that is a waste of this sets picture, go buy and Insignia ;-P

Jumping in to echo on what everyone else is saying.

I have this same TV in my basement, and you can't really understand how good it is until you see it.

Old Dutch, I've told everyone I know that is looking for a TV about this one being available. I halfway hope my upstairs 47" LCD dies on me, just so I can make a case for a second one.
