Default Game 38 - Battle of Alberta

Lineup for tonight's game looks good again, like last game against the Blues.

Not really a big fan of the Breen O'Brien pairing but we'll see how it turns out as the game goes on.

Going with the Flames on this one.

Flames win 5-3.

We all hate the oilers however this has been discussed numerous times and the Oil were not at fault for that incident.
Im bringing a buddy in from Edmonton to watch this one...he couldnt stop thanking me for the ticket. He doesnt realize its all part of the plan to see if I can get him to take his jersey off by nights end!

Got scared on the Byron thing, I'm enjoying watching him zip around the ice at the moment.

After such a strong team-effort against the blues, I'm feeling a streak coming on, against a perennial bottom-feeder the Flames come away 4-1!

I hope Backlund and Byron keep up the stellar play.

I'd like to see Smid get a rare goal against his old mates.

Really hard to imagine the Oilers getting this one. Flames work ethic should be enough to get the points.

Hartley says Byron should be good for tonight. He left the ice twice after colliding with the boards. #Flames

Horak could still play today.

And his jersey number with the Oilers?

Edmonton Oilers ‏@EdmontonOilers 28m
Roman Horak wearing #12 with #Oilers at morning skate today.

“@EdmontonOilers: Coach Eakins says Horak and Marincin won't play tonight in Calgary.”

Oilers too stupid to even consider the "playing your old team" card.
