Just wait for Sportsnet to get their hands on it.
Video audio won't be synced properly...

Ya it's a PIN lock screen, which honestly I would have on my phone even if it wasn't hooked up to my exchange account (way too much personal information stored in it to not have some kind of security)

How are you liking that phone so far? I've been eyeing it for a while now and considering biting the bullet and paying out my current phone to get it.
Man that thing looks slick.

The HTC one is awesome. I prefer the plain google UI so I converted it to the Google Play Edition. Very well designed and quality manufactured phone. One of the better ones I've ever seen. I am currently using it and the Nexus 5 and enjoying them both. You would not be dissapointed if you decide to bite the bullet and get one.

Just use Google Now?

I use theScore app. You can set it up so you only get specific alerts on specific teams, etc. Never failed me.

I use CBS Sports. It's the best IMO.

Any recommendation for a good lacrosse score app? The NLL app blows.

Go into the Android settings on your phone, go to Apps, find you app in the list, click on it and then un-check "Show notifications".
That will not allow that app to display any notifications.

For rooted users I have started using Greenify and I have been very pleased with the results so far. It is a battery saver in that it will put your apps to sleep when they are not being used so you don't get a lot of back ground apps running, eating battery. The pro version will let you do system apps like Google Now to save even more. I don't use a lot of location services and such so putting Now to sleep is no big deal for me.
I have gone from a roughly 7.4%/hr battery drain down to a 3.2%/hr drain over the past week. Easily getting 18hrs with 4hrs screen and 40% battery left with the exact same usage as before. One day I went 39hrs with still 15% left.

I'm having issues with the stock email app on my Nexus 5. I'm running KIT KAT and with a Shaw email address. I'm looking for a different app to use.
I've tried K-9, cloudMail and a couple others. What have other people used?
Again, needs to be able to work with a Shaw email using exchange active sync.

Also... I thought Shaw was in the stone ages and doesn't support active sync? I switched to Outlook.com because of that.

Touchdown is by far the best one I've used. Flawless with a shaw email address too. Expensive for an app but worth every penny. Here's the app which includes a 30 day trial.
