Also of note, the Swiss have a d man by the name of Lukas Frick ... I kid you not... Lukas fricken Frick.

No word as of yet if Dumba's kneeing incident will be subject to further review by the IIHF.

Canada has until the 25th to finalize a roster and typically the IIHF has a meeting on the 24th whether to suspend on players based on the pre-tournament.

this arena looks weird, looks like it's put up against the center field wall.

5v5 Canada is barely holding their own against the Swiss. This does not bode well.

well from the roster that Miniac posted, I know that Bereglazov, Shiksatdarov, Voronin, Vorobyov, Rudenkov and Gorbunov were cut or injured ... so they'd be at 23 players (has to be 22 though, right?). Last thing I heard from a guy I know who follows Russian hockey extremely closely was that Rafikov made it and would probably be on a pairing with Vasiliev ... but take that with a grain of salt.

From what i have read he is currently in the lineup against the German's. He is on the bubble to make the team in the sense that he is not a "lock", but I believe only one more defensemen wil be cut
