Hall's body language was totally opposite of his statement when he said he loved Edmonton and loved playing for the Oilers.

The Oilers need to trade one of Hall, Eberle or RNH just to send a message to others. They need to move one of the Canadians to send a message that these guys aren't safe and they will get moved.
I'm sure they'll end up trading Yakapov... but I get the feeling he's not part of the Hall/RNH/Eberle/Schultz young guns core.

Of course they do.
But what impact player that they'd want/need as a return, would waive their NTC (if they're that good, they're going to have an NMC/NTC) to go there? Nevermind the mess the team is in the standings, said player would be expected to change things all on his own. Only a few players could do that (Pronger was one, and they screwed him over 8 years ago) singlehandedly.
Outside of that, the Oilers would have to settle for draft picks as a return...and that message isn't going to be positive for the others listed, or for the fan base.

Radio show the other day was saying they wouldn't trade Yakupov for Seth Jones straight up.
If they honestly think they are getting anything close to Seth Jones, they will be severely disappointed.
