I love how that Crystal Glass ad makes Hall look like a giant simpleton.

They both have call in shows. I usually listen to 630ched to hear what new excuse Stauffer has. I believe 1260 goes straight to callers.

It's basically emblematic of the Oilers ... low rent and tacky with the Oiler losing out in the end.

What a joke of a franchise.
You have to think a move is coming, this group looks like quite a toxic environment.
|
Fixed.
What move can they make? Until Lowe goes and the reputation that he sunk this team down to, and continues to, is gone, no player is going to go there to get lied to by the President, and that snowballs year after year and the product is out there to see now.
Blackmailing Scotty and Stan Bowman to run things there won't change anything so long as the only way the team can get good players is drafting them, or taking damaged goods at a premium price.

"The game should have been 4-1, or 4-2". Bob Stauffer. Good start for his crazy homerism.

Uh oh, the dreaded closed door meeting:
“@TSNRyanRishaug: Oiler room still not open after game.”

Just wait for the first "half cut" Oilers fan to bring him back to earth.
These poor guys doing the call in show.

Oiler ownership? haha
Katz bought the Oilers to leverage them for a new arena deal to lead to development and elevated values in properties he owns through the Katz Group. He suckered all those Oiler fans. He doesn't give a damn about how good that team is now that his plan has been successful.
Taste it greaser fans.

The Oilers really have no choice but to start from scratch.

It is amazing that any company wants to be associated with this mess.
It is also funny that the Oilers had to overpay on both money and term for Eakins. Three and a half years of defeated looks to go!

Save it for April 15 when they stroll back in to profess how great their next first overall pick is going to be.

Found this...too good to keep to the lottery draft thread. So much good stuff here, especially that the guy driving the bus then (like he learned from Slats), still is.

It's really unfortunate that it looks like Ekblad is going to fall right into their lap.

Healy is so dumb. Weber has already been paid some 20 million from his current contract... they aren't going to trade him to save money now.
