Those teams just eat up talents that never see the light of day again. Teams that already have a wealth of great prospects, yet fail to do anything with them. McDavid needs to go to someone new. (*cough..)
And Phoenix won't be bad enough to have a real chance, so long as Tippett is behind the bench.

I can imagine - you get to watch him more often and he only lights the Flames up a few times a year.

Well, the game was getting out of hand and then that Cammy goal settled it down. So ... yeah, probably gonna lose, but important.
I'm sure we'll just get dummied in the third anyway.

Considering how much the Rangers suck lately, they are my second choice.
I would bet good money on either Phoenix or New York. This is the reason why the lottery was changed.

Considering the Pens were the laughing stock of the league at that time I actually felt they deserved Crosby more than any other team at the time. It felt like justice to give the pick to pretty much the worst team even though it was a free-for-all draft lottery.

Hopefully he goes to some team outside the bottom 3 or 4 so the ones (Oilers) that are trying to tank won't get him.

Stopped the leak if anything. At worst it was the difference between a 2 goal loss and a 4 goal loss

Who knows where Burke would be if he got Crosby, instead of finishing 2nd and getting Ryan.

Give me a break...every shot over a Flames goalie's glove is not like Gretzky's fluker in 1988.

Crosby is the best player I have ever seen but he is not Gretzky Sportsnet.

Well, they do.
But the Rangers haven't had a star since Jagr... it would be good for the NHL to have McDavid go to New York as well.

Hockey needs to be transparent. We need to see the balls.. like the world cup draw. How hard is that?
