It's not a terrible idea, but you're telling me you leave off superstars for a guy like Dupuis? Any player would have chemistry with Crosby... I just don't think you leave guys off the team that clearly deserve to be there for a guy like Dupuis.

The goal is to win the gold medal. If Dupuis playing with Crosby and Kunitz gets Team Canada there over a more "deserving" candidate, that's all that matters.

Left knee too. He has had quite a few knee injuries in his career.

Youre not asking him to produce without crosby.

Wow, didn't realize how riddled with injuries the Pens were -- yet they keep on winning.

considering the players on the ice didn't complain at all and none of the commentators even mentioned it I think you guys are all just butt hurt
its crosby's tenacity combined with his skill that makes him such a good player...now I wish they didn't score but really I'm not gonna blame the refs. Move the ####ing puck

And if Crosby gets hurt and you have committed to Dupuis then what? You are going to leave off a legit top end player because a much lesser player has chemistry with a star? No thanks. I am pretty sure you could put Lance Bouma on Crosby's wing and he would get 20+ goals and over 50 points.

Agreed. That's the risk. If Crosby gets hurt you bench Kunitz and Dupuis and call up a superstar from the "taxi squad" (does that still exist?).

You cant do that once the tournament starts.
This is just a fun discussion. Neither kunitz nor dupius will make the team.

A good start to the period, but just aren't creating enough scoring opportunities given all the pressure they.ve exerted.

Ramo, just stay in the blue paint and we'll be good. Misplay for Gio to take a penalty.

PK leaving Crosby wide open the entire time. Not the wisest thing to do.
