Not that it deserves to be in a "Best of Thread", but the Boston Marathon Bombing thread during that night when the brothers were on the run was easily the most interesting thread of the year for me.
I was up all night listening to the scanner and reading CP. Just a crazy night; maybe not in a good way, but at least they got them.

Jhunt for sure but some other odd ones recently were the cammy for drouin proposal, followed by the cammy to the olympics thread. No offense to ya cammy!

The best part of that was the idea that the Flames better hurry and make the deal while Stamkos is still injured, otherwise Yzerman would pull it off the table.

I was going to nominate the sockpuppets/returning posters thread, but just saw that it's been over a year since it was killed. Time flies...
And what did bertuzzied do to finally get banned? I was amazed that he stuck around as long as he did since he was fairly openly trolling in most of his posts for the past year or two.
Also, for anyone who is just now reading the jhunt thread, make sure you start at this post. The payoff is so much better if you build up to it.

The best part of that whole thread was the vaginal expansion posts were just an awsome train wreck on their own. Not CP hall of fame but definately a hilarious thread. Then out of no where Brozl comes in and blows it wide open. And then you have creepy CP relentlessing hitting on brozel.
My favourite post of the year by far.

Not to mention the accusations about infidelity and GreenTeaFrap that started flying at post 454. And then BigNumbers bumps the thread today, accidentally outing himself as a returning poster. He pretty clearly thought that his previous post in the thread had been under his old account. That thread is so glorious from start to finish.
