Go read textcritics aruguments for the Human Jesus existing from another one of the religious threads and come back here and claim the probability is 100%. It is certainly better than 0% that Jesus the person existed. And certian that he wasn't white.

Even if you doubt the veracity of the divine nature of Jesus, surely you must be willing to admit that there is, at least, some chance that he was an actual person, who lived around that time and in the geographical area of the Middle East.
Yep, historical figure but he didn't have anything to do with Christianity and was not divine. That was brought in by the dying emperor Constantine around 330ish a.d.

Do you have a link on this? I'm not questioning you, just curious to read more.

Wait.. if there is no Jesus there is no Christmas. If there is no Christmas there is no Santa.
I guess one way to make a stance against black Santa would be to eliminate him all together by getting rid of Jesus first.
I have been reading a lot of children's Christmas books to my daughter this month. Not once have they ever mentioned anything about Jesus' skin colour or ethnicity.

I am pretty sure this isn't true. Jesus as a religious figure started during his life. The Muslims even consider him a prophet (a fact that often gets forgotten)

That's not really true at all. Constantine legitimized the religion, but that's about it

I'm not sure what the beliefs of Muslims have to do with this argument - Islam was founded about 600 years after Jesus would have lived.
Clearly she didn't go far enough. In traditional (pre 20th century) depictions, Santa is only ever shown giving gifts to white children. So she should be telling any non-white kids that any 'Santa' presents they may have received can't truly be from Santa and must be from their lying parents instead.
One thing that is true is that the Coca Cola Santa that we worship in the Pagan festival of Christmas is white. That much Megan Kelly is right on. That doesn't mean everyone else can't worship there own Santa in whatever image they want. And what that teacher did is dispicable.
