Pretty typical Flames games so far - good first period - Bruins push and they fall back. They certainly keep trying though. Love that Bouma kid. Couldn't figure out how he got 4 minutes - Did any blood actually show up on the Bruin or did the refs invent some for that missed call on Stajan? He certainly didn't have any by the time he got back to the bench.

Hope Monahan is all right.

Oh look, Iggy wants to fight. This is fun to watch.

it's telling when Bouma is your most noticed guy on the ice. We need bigger top 6 plain and simple

Moral Victory: they haven't scored 9 yet.

It isn't really telling of anything. Bouma is a strong young guy playing like a menace, he'd be noticed on any team playing the game he is tonight.

I'm digging it.

So many dumb, blind passes.

If Brodie didn't CARRY IT IN late in the period like anyone with a brain would've figured out to do half way into that period, my head might've exploded...

Well, a defined top 6 would be a good first step. I'd say the only players on the Flames that are good enough to be top 6 on a contender are Cammalleri and Hudler. Maybe Glencross, when he's on his game.

I'm loving Bouma's game tonight. Getting everyone on the B's ticked off. Keep it going..keep it going.

Ya there was blood on the mouth guard. He went back to the bench SN showed it has he pulled it out. Looked like a chiclet was loose.

8 and a half periods without a goal in Boston.

The last Flames goal in Boston was scored by Alex Tanguay, assisted by Matthew Lombardi and Chuck Kobasew.

McGrattan has a great first period and a little over 4 minutes, wasn't able to hit the ice with 8minutes of special teams. Hopefully he can get at least 2 munites in the 3rd as that line was really setting the pace in the first

It wasn't a slight against Bouma, it's the fact that our 4th line grinders are the only ones on the ice we really notice.
