Seriously?? Woohoo!!
How many players can a team lose on this expansion draft? Is there any maximum numbers?

Stamps came out with the best case scenario. Glenn leaving lets them protect kickers +2 more. AND dumping Fraser. I dislike Ottawa.
Riders lose Shologan and Evans. They must be going import at DT

Each team loses 3, draft is over now.
Ottawa has some nice pieces to build around. I think Lavoie is going to be the pick of the draft for them
EDIT: I'm a little surprised Winnipeg didn't protect Kohlert in round 3. Will Hage go to Ottawa or will he retire?

Awesome!! We didn't lose any of our receivers like Nik Lewis, Mo Price, Joe West, (OLines) other than Deane and on top of it we didn't lose Punter Rob Maver and we finally got rid of Eric "No Hit" Fraser. Rick Campbell must have like Eric Fraser for Ottawa to pick him up.
Now the free agency starts soon.

So now the burning question is: When is the dispersal draft?

something else haha

Really happy they took Fraser. He is a pylon and doesn't have the speed to be an every play FS.
I am super surprised by the DeMarco pick. Giving 2 teams the ability to protect more guys just seems odd.

I really hope Ottawa can keep a team this time around and the CFL can focus on becoming a 10-team league (10th team representing Atlantic Canada and playing in Halifax), which I think would be a great number for the league to settle at for the foreseeable future.

Good day for the Stamps.
Losing Glenn - no more 3 headed monster and no more questions every week. Allows BLm to move up to #1 or #2 depending on TC. Perfect for Stamps, Glenn, Ott.
Losing Deane - Some OLineman was likely going to get cut or spend time on PR. So opens up a spot on the PR and gives Deane a full time job. Perfect for Stamps, Deane, Ott.
Losing Fraser - Almost every Stamps fan wanted him gone, so good luck to him in Ottawa.
Reading Ted Laurent might be a free agent if he gets to UFA Huff needs to throw big money at him. Mace and Laurent would set up the ratio so nicely. Allowing an import to start at safety.

Haha, I should clarify. She is one of my three sisters, got my grammar all mixed up there. I believe he's been her only boyfriend since 2006.

Wow.
I don't think that expansion draft could have gone any better from a Stamps POV.
I like Glenn, he did an admirable job here......but if Tate is going to get hurt I'm glad it will be young BLM stepping in, as opposed to the older Glenn.
Kept all our receivers, and both of our young and very effective kickers too....nice.

Nothing sums up my feelings better than this old meme chestnut:
For months I've been thinking that we were going to lose one or two key players. Instead, two guys I definitely wanted us to get rid of, plus one I didn't have strong feelings about.
But all three guys can have a major impact there, and I wish them all the best. I'd like to see Ottawa get back into the playoffs as quickly as possible, as that would be best for the franchise and thus the league.

Not that surprise since Collaros, Drew Willy are free agents while the two Montreal QBs are not good enough for Ottawa to pick and Winnipeg unprotected QB are probably not enticing. Who else is available? Burris(free agent), Buck Pierce(injury-prone) and Matt Nicholls(injured). Ottawa already mentioned they are not drafting a free agent. I am sure they will bid for Zach Collaros or Drew Willy when the free agency starts.

Warren Woods @WoodsyCJME 1m
Taman says once the #REDBLACKS took @KSholo the decision was made to go with an import at his spot so Evans was also exposed
