4 points for Byron in the last two games. Add that to all the energy and speed and you have to be thrilled with what he's doing right now.

Byron has been playing really well since being called up. Hopefully he sticks with the team

I think we have seen some flashes but he had some bad luck last season getting hurt when called up. I think he's pretty useful on the 4th line as he can play PK has good speed and decent skills.

I'm not sure if this accurately reflects my feelings, but a win is a win.

Missed the game because of work but safe to say Byron had another great game I see.

He's probably the only highlight of the game. Ramo was decent but this was not a well played game by either team. You could see why the Sabres are as terrible as they are.

I am soo happy that Flames won, lots of family and friends there at the game watching and this is great for them! They look forward to those Buffalo and Detroit games so they can go without too long of a drive. Yay Flames!!!

anyone else think myers looked pretty good all game? physical, good with the puck in all zones. if the sabres end up trading this guy, i can still see him becoming a premier Dman in this league.

Worth pointing out that the Flames have allowed 1 goal in 5 of our last 7 games.

Suddenly our goaltending (and defensive game as a whole) is looking pretty good surprisingly.

2 points is 2 points is 2 points. No matter how ugly they are, they all still count.

Ramo played well. It's ridiculous the amount of dismissive scorn he and Berra have gotten around here.

They've both been very good as of late. It if wasn't for the odd softie they've let in here and there they'd be bordering on playing great. Not sure how much more can be expected from two near-rookie netminders.

Yeah, the points don't really matter. It's still more fun to watch a win though, but with a game that ugly ... barely.
