Good game by the boys. Backlund is turning into a man. Loved that exchange he had with Staal down the ice. Staal cheapshots him as the goal goes in too. Dirt bag.

Anyone else think Chris Butler looks like Jon Cryer?

Byron is dependable defensively, Baertschi is not. You want your dependable players playing when it is OT.

I feel happy for Butler. Yeah the guys not a great hockey player, but the level of scorn he gets can be pretty brutal on a guy.

Ramo played great. Bailed out the team a few times. Solid game around. Really missed the vets

Well I couldn't disagree more. You guys are seeing what you want to see, or what others are telling you.
Baertschi has done nothing this season to indicate he plays poor in his own end. Especially when compared to somebody like Paul Byron.

besides the Flames just won a game where Byron set up the winner and had two points on 2 goals...and his first comment is about Sven's lack of playing time in OT as opposed to Byron lol

Sound engineer – the only field where you can get a job despite having literally no experience in that field. There's nothing worse than having a bad sound guy, and there are SOOOOOO many bad sound guys.

The Flames (your favorite team) just won a game in OT 2-1 and Byron had 2 points...and your first comment is about Byron getting more ice then Sven

I like Paul Byron. I would not be shocked to see him stick with the Flames for an extended look.
Also Karri Ramo was huge late in the game.
