Yes, he did. He also specifically said he liked Monahan. However, the Flames had 3 first round draft picks.
I bet Burke doesn't like the Jankowski choice. He probably doesn't like the Baertschi and Granlund picks either.

I think the Weisbrod not "great relationship" comment was more along the lines that they had little interaction and weren't friends prior. Not that they didn't get along or were butting heads necessarily.

-Set a long ship course, not change the GM every 3 years and zig and zag
-That is the deal I came here on, and that is not changing and all of a sudden I want to be the GM

He is right. We do need to get big.
For the next 10 years we will have to battle Anaheim, L.A., and San Jose in our own division.
They are all big strong teams. That is the model we have to emulate.
