strange year Galatasarey will get in with 7 points, Napoli will be out with 12.

Edit: Napoli scores! 2-0! They need one more!

I don't pay attention much to Italian football. Are empty stadiums the norm? It looks like there is hardly anybody in the stadium for an incredibly important game.

Also, why did Napoli sit back and not press for goals? It just seems foolish to leave their CL lives in Marseille's hands.

Cause the Marseille-Dortmund was 1-1 for a very long time. It would be pretty dumb to give up an equalizer and go out that way.

Arsenal were down to 10 men and were happy sitting back. Did anybody really think Marseille would hold them?

I thought they would have. In soccer it always easier to not score than to score.
At 80 minutes you would have probably gotten 4 to 1 that Dortmund would score. So Napoli didn't need to take any risks.

Dortmund scored so just tip your hat to them.

and Zenit get in with 6 points ...

brilliant linesman at the Schalke-Basel game ... four, possibly five Schalke guys clearly offside, goal counts

I just think it was a huge mistake, and I'd be pretty disappointed in the decision if I supported Napoli.

They didn't have to take huge risks to go for goals. They had an extra man and could have stayed solid defensively while still looking for goals. They weren't even looking to penetrate at all by the 80th minute.

Just from the BBC website

that is going to be a real tough draw for City and Arsenal, not an easy team among them

I'm thinking Arsenal would probably be favorites against PSG or Atletico and underdogs against Real, Bayern and Barca. None of them are easy.

It was all looking so good with 20 minutes left

Arsenal mind you, there certainly would have been easier opponents but playing a more difficult team should hopefully be enough to prevent any sort of letdown

that's like 3 out of 4 years Arsenal have been drawn with the 'favorite' in the round of 16

I like City to beat Barca too and on first glance would go with the rest of the 1st seeds in all the others

there should be 1 or 2 upsets but I just can't see it

Galatasaray maybe, Milan have the talent but they have been so poor
