Favorite highlight is at 0:36 mark, it was the first time I watched him play after the trade with Dallas....been favourite player since then.

This video was awesome.
A few depressing takeaways:
1) 2004, sigh.
2) I had almost forgotten how amazing Iggy was.
3) Makes me sad that we're so far from playoff games and that excitement.
4) How lucky we were to have a captain that was so physical and awesome.

Great video!
Wow...that first goal in the NHL - 1996 against the 'Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. I was there at that game. My gf at the time bought 2nd row seats and I can remember the place erupting. I remember the score being 1-0 Calgary for the whole game on that goal until late, when Roenick tied it with seconds left in the 3rd. Game went into triple OT and finally Joe Murphy won it. My gf wanted to leave in the second overtime because it was getting so late...I was going to lose my mind when I realized she was serious about leaving. Poor girl was regretting buying those tickets!!
When it all ended, the one other thing I remember was a huge cup of Saddledome beer that was tossed from the mid level landing beside me and ejecting all its contents onto me. I went home soaked in someone else's beer.
Iggy was a presence ever since.

I have never seen so much emotion and power in the same player just an unbelievable competitor.

Amazing video. It's so remarkable how watching some of Iginla's achievements makes me think about where I was in life during those moments.
We truly were blessed as fans to have a long standing captain who was such an ambassador to the game and who wore our hopes with his own blood and sweat.
I wish I could be there tonight, and man do I hope TSN broadcast does not go over and that GameCenter turns on the feed early enough to catch some of the pre-game stuff.

Thanked, if only for reminding me of how Iggy used to do that power move where he would flip the puck over a defender's stick into the middle of the zone and try to power through.

I hope this guy wins a cup. Best player to ever play for the flames. We were extremely lucky to have him.
