We should introduce a big band when all our college grads make the Flames. I love hearing "No Diggity", what a RAD song when played with all that brass.
16 SOG to 6 for Providence... if they keep that up they should score a few.
Providence has come all the way back from a 3-0 deficit. Jankowski has been so-so, but again, he's not in a position to score a lot. Providence really relies on their "senior" Mauermann, who does have three points tonight. Gillies has not had a great game tonight. Gilmore has been meh as well. For as badly as Providence has out shot Northeastern it hasn't been that impressive a performance. Maybe because I was expecting more from the Flames prospects than they have shown.
I will add, the Friars were short handed in OT and Jankowski was put out as one of the forwards. He made a couple of excellent defensive plays in the Friar's zone and then made two very smart rushes up ice, setting up one of his fellow penalty killers with a great short handed scoring opportunity, but the guy couldn't handle the pass. Jankowski stood out most on the defensive side of the puck but still showed some excellent offensive instincts.

BC held on to win 2-1, despite being badly outshot. Arnold with 1G and Gaudreau with 1A in the game.
In the Ivy League, Harvard went into the third with a 2-0 lead over Yale, but Yale scored 2 in the third, including the tying goal from Agostino with just over 5 minutes left. Overtime solved nothing, so it goes in the books as a 2-2 tie.
None of the other Flames college prospects were notable on the night. Providence did not play.
With Christmas around the corner, the NCAA schedule gets really light for the next couple of weeks. Providence plays their next game on December 20, and Boston College doesn't play again until the 27th.

One other game of significance, actually - Tim Harrison picked up an assist in Colgate's 2-2 tie with Cornell. 3rd point of the season, and 3rd in the last 4 games.

A shutout for Olivier Roy tonight as the Aces beat former Flames affiliate Utah 3-0. Roy had 24 saves.
Second straight shutout for Roy. He had the rare double-shutout shootout win last night.

Thanks. Not sure how I missed that.
