Chicago signed him to a one year contract this year, then when he didn't make the NHL team out of training camp, they put him on waivers... no one picked him up, so they sent him to HV71 on a tryout. When the tryout was concluded, HV71 decided not to keep him, it didn't take long for Chicago to get him out of their system...
Remember at Chicago's 2010 training camp where Beach injured another Chicago prospect Mathis Olimb in a training camp fight?

Beach used to play for the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Big talent, bigger attitude. Trouble always knew where he was.
Yeah, he is a real prize. His career highlight reel involves deliberately shooting a puck into the crowd, sparking a brawl with an assault from behind, being kicked off his team in the middle of the playoffs for disciplinary reasons and being someone the Hawks didn't even want in Rockford anymore.
The only real question is here is to wonder why the Rangers even bothered.
