The USA plays with a lot of determination and I think they'll stand well in the group. Hoping for the best.

I think the heat will kill the US since they like to play a high-energy pressing style.

They are probably the worst team in the group. Really tough road.

Group D and G are ridiculous.

Shame that at least 2 good teams will be going home early because of the groupings.

Group G
only one night-time kickoff USA-Ghana at 7pm

Everything else is either 1pm or 4pm in the hot northern cities of Brazil.

Group G is crazy.

So excited, this will be my 3rd world cup and first time I get to see England play live.

Going to see:
June 17, Match 15, Belgium vs Algeria
June 21, Match 27, Argentina vs Iran
June 24, Match 40, England vs Costa Rica

Also hoping this is the year Messi shows up at the world stage.

Which is saying something because the USA have a pretty decent team this year.

Ghana were also very strong in qualifying.

Wait what?

None of those teams are miles ahead of Germany? What are you smoking?

Anyways, these groups are pretty dumb. Seems like most of the good teams got grouped together and most of the minnows are together.

I think shes saying that those groups are tighter in terms of difficulty to progress out of. Which I can understand in a way.

the problem with Group B is that not only is it hard but if you finish 2nd you'll have to play Brazil in the 16s.

That first game is going to be absolutely crucial in group B.

I'm looking forward to Uruguay vs. England.

Hypothetically if all seeded teams made it to the quarters, the bracket would be.
Brazil
Colombia

Switzerland
Germany

Spain
Uruguay

Argentina
Belgium

Brutal draw for the US...including bad memories of Ghana in '10.

To top it off, Grant Wahl from SI reported the US will also have the worst travel schedule of any nation during the tourney at ~9K miles.

Really? I thought Brazil and the teams in group A were guaranteed to have the worst travel?
