Why can't we multiple threads for different news or rumors, especially since when poster like sureLoss posts, it's usually thread-worthy.
I don't understand CP's obsession of trying to cram every single post into a mega thread.
It's so easy to miss important news or rumors.

The idea behind this thread is ridiculous. So sureLoss should post here, then either A) also post in the other thread or B) let someone make a whole new thread where we can endlessly discuss speculation.
How about sureLoss posts wherever sureLoss would like to post, everyone else posts wherever they would like to post, and the few that have an issue with it can relax and realise that finding a sureLoss post in the other thread is like finding an M&M in your bag of trail mix. Something to enjoy!
And I realise that you want a bag of M&M's, but that's not what mom packed for you, so shut up and eat your damn trail mix! Or else you'll be a fatty! Or maybe get diabetes. Or whatever.
The best question though, is sureLoss regular M&M's? Or like... peanut.... or pretzel or something. God only knows.

Yes, we are supposed to create an entirely new thread for our discussion of the topic OR start discussing that topic in another thread, which I assume can be completely random and of our choosing.
This is, of course, because like... 6 people are trying to tell sureLoss where to post. Totally legit of course, this will definitely work well. There is no chance this thread gets derailed, and CERTAINLY not by the first 30+ posts that go against everything this thread is intended for. That wouldn't happen.... never....

Each time there is a piece of legitimate news worthy of discussion sureLoss usually makes a new thread. In these threads we discuss that subject. It is delightful.
When there is a story, tidbit of information or trade rumour – let's call it speculation – that is not worth its own unique thread, sureLoss, MissTeeks and various other posters who check Twitter and that newfangled Google often post in the aptly-named 'Trade Speculation and Rumours' thread.
And albeit that thread gets derailed more often than an Uzbek steam train, it does what it says on the tin & I believe this thread is completely unnecessary.
For those that want rumours, minus the conversation & discussion, do a web or twitter search for 'NHL trade', 'NHL rumor', 'Flames trade', 'Flames rumour' etc. Who knows... you might even find something interesting to post yourself.
