I know this is really late, and it expires today or tomorrow, but I got an e-mail from Scotiabank about using your Scotia AMEX card, and they have a special arrangement with Macy's among a few other retailers, where if you use your Scotiabank AMEX and use the code AMEXGIFT at the final checkout, AMEX will pay your duties AND taxes on your order. You have to buy over $150 or it won't work. Macy's has some amazing deals and I spent about $400 on bedding and jackets and whatnot. Saved a ton. Remember though, that you can only enter that code at the second checkout or it won't work.

Good news for someone. I decided I don't really need the Chromecast at this time so off to the next on the list it goes.

Is there any particular reason that chromecasts aren't in Canada now? I am intrigued by the product and hope to see a thread about them from the CPers that got one at some point. Sorry its a bit off topic.

But, I know these jackets and they are for short guys not tall guys. At 6"3 it would constantly be riding up my back like a thong on a fat chick.

Thanks for the heads up I am sure I won't have a problem. What I will probably do is set up a meet at BP near DeerFoot Meadows for Tuesday evening. Ill make a thread about it this evening so we quit cluttering this one. ( http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthr...64#post4512564)

Sorry for all the unanswered PM's and Posts.. 1. my wife is right I really am lazy lol and 2. I don't want to promise one and not be 100% sure. It was pretty easy getting them through customs. I told them "I wasn't sure of the rules etc but I brought these back from the states. I said they can't be found here but a lot of my friends and family wanted them... for 30 bucks it's a steal and they make cheap Christmas presents."

They told me as long as you didn't buy over 800 bucks worth of them... Unfortunately I could have bought more... sorry guys. Maybe next trip in January if they aren't here yet.

you are a good guy to do this for folk. I think that you should insist that they all wear their new official CP coat and dark sunglasses to pick the chromecast up. this will ensure that you know they are CPers!
