“Fast & Furious” star Vin Diesel posted a photo of the pair on his #therealvindiesel Instagram account, saying “Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”
wow...he was 40!? Seemed younger. I just watched all of the Fast and the Furious movies, a few weeks ago. This is crazy. My buddy is a huge fan of PW. This sucks.
Not a car guy at all so I might not have a clue what I'm saying here... but I think think think I saw that exact car on an episode of Top Gear, it's a racing car allowed on the street, basically no traction control whatsoever.
It's definitely an extremely powerful car and you need to know what you're doing. It does have traction control although the earlier ones didn't have stability control, which helps you from spinning out.
Definitely not a car you want to take lightly.

Condolences to the families of him and the other person in the car.
Looking at that wreck...it looks like it was going a little over the speed limit...which makes the tragedy worse since it was probably avoidable if they weren't driving recklessly.

Wow sad news for both men and their families. Walker wasn't the greatest actor but he was a real car enthusiast and was a good fit for the F&F movies. I wonder if they may have survived the accident if the car didn't go up in flames?
Edit: after seeing the car in pictures it's hard to believe there would have been any survivors even if the car doesn't go up in flames. Must have been travelling very fast.

In fact, I always felt kind of bad for him. My recollection was that he was the frontrunner to play Anakin Skywalker in Episode II. Unfortunately, someone leaked that info and Lucas ended up axing him because he wanted the awarding of the role to be more of a surprise. If my memory is right (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong), that would have been a bitter pill to swallow as it would surely have made Walker a superstar.
I suppose none of that matters now.

RIP. Really liked the F&F movies but don't remember him in too many other roles. Hopefully they died instantly and without pain, the photos of the crash look bad.
just watched this on CBC right now... they said he was driving as a passenger on the way back from his personal charity that was raising funds to help victims of the typhoon Haiyan (sp?).
Also said they think speed WAS a factor. But driving a vehicle like that, I'm not sure that's terribly surprising.
Finally, he was in the middle of filming the 7th instalment of the Fast and Furious series, so they were wondering what would happen to the movie now.
I've seen two post mortem pics show up on my Facebook feed. No sure if real or not, but they're really nasty. I have a strong stomach, but have no idea why people share stuff like that.
I just don't understand why people feel compelled to share stuff like that on Facebook. It's a terrible social network for serving up things automatically that people may not want to see. If I had a nickel for every dead fetus posted by my (now blocked) religious family members, I'd have enough nickels to throw at them during the next reunion.
Sad news saw the photos of the wreck on Sat night, my sons didn't believe us and were convinced it was some kind of hoax when i txt them the bad news. Really tragic nothing can be said but my heart goes out to his family. Way, way to soon for a such a talented actor.
