Flames vs Kings - 8:00 - HNiC
Sorry, I forgot to post earlier and I'm out at hockey all day.
Tough loss yesterday in Anaheim (not a surprise though).
Dethrone the Kings tonight. I guess we see Ramo between the pipes.
Go Flames Go!

Take a shot every time Butler coughs the puck up / is out of position.

Take a shot every time someone complains about Butler or Rob Kerr.
Not both though, or you'll die of alcohol poisoning.

Let's see how far we can go with this. Take a shot every time someone complains about people complaining about...
Anyway, glad to see Ramo with a chance. I don't know if we'll see Scrivens or the third stringer Martin Jones (had to look him up). No regulation losses for LA in their last 10, that trend will almost certainly continue tonight. Hopefully the team puts forward a better effort than yesterday afternoon.

It's a HNIC broadcast so no Kerr.
Even so, he'd contribute to at least a few shots tonight.

Apparently it's their last 11 according to TSN.
Even if we were a good team right now this division is absolute murder.

Last 11, wow. I only knew about 10 from glancing at the standings. Pretty amazing that they're doing all of this without Quick.

This is one of our toughest stretches of the season, so I would expect the losses to keep coming for a few more games. Kings, Coyotes, and Avalanche...before we get a chance at revenge at the Oilers. And then it's Iggy and the Bruins, which while it should be a good one, I'm not expecting much of a team result there either.

One of those games where you tune in to watch the other team's star players...because your own team doesn't have any.
I like watching the Kings, they play solid, tight hockey.
Edit: I hope the murdering isn't too bad tonight, Calgary's defense needs some help from the hockey gods.

Yeah, this is a great season to suck. A decent team would be unlikely to even make the playoffs, and a bad team gets lots of free help with their draft position.
Good deal for Flames fans so long as the team is entertaining us.

Yeah feels pretty grim. What are we cheering for? Keep it under 4 goals against?

Boy, looks like I picked the right week to be in Florida without Center Ice to watch the games. I knew this would be a rough stretch, but it's been downright heartbreaking. Here's hoping the Flames at least keep this one close.
Oh, and I watched the Panthers play the Rangers live the other night and I'm amazed at how bad they are. They will be below us in the standings this year, bank on it.

Haven't got shut out yet! At least we have that.
As long as as the Flames play hard and don't embarrass themselves, I don't really care about the score that much.

Just give them the 2 points and save us the humiliation.

Even though they suck, they have poorer competition to play in the East, so theoretically have a better chance of picking up points. Most of the West is pretty strong, so it's a little harder for us to do.
Or at least this is what I tell myself. And then I look at Buffalo.
