Comeau, able to turn a 3 on 1 into a failed puck cycle.

Hemsky is awful; hard to believe the Oilers will be able to get anything more than a late round pick for him. Wouldn't even be all that surprised if they waive him at this point. He obviously doesn't want to be there anymore, although how could you blame him?

If Hemsky could be traded for a 7th, he'd have been traded already.

Hemsky has the reputation for softness that devalues him massively...
In Dallas, 'Hawks turn the puck over on a breakout, Crawford mishandles the puck behind the net...Puck jumps out to Peverley...1-0 Stars after 1.

7 Oiler power plays, and only one goal to show for it.
Columbus isn't even a shutdown team.
Real offensive powerhouse, there.

Maybe, but Ramo and Berra have only played a handful of games in the league...wouldn't give up on them just yet

In Dallas, still 1-0 Stars...Robidas is being taken off on a stretcher...he had laid out to block a pass, and had to try to twist to spin out of going head first into the end boards...his lead leg was caught as he crashed...as ugly twist or break as I've ever seen.

I think one of the only things better than a sabres win, is a sabres win over the leafs lol. It's funny because everyone around here loves the leafs and a few of my friends were even saying that they could play for the leafs tonight and they'd still win.
A sabres win brings them a big closer to us and makes the leafs look even worse. I'd love to see the leafs panic and make a push for Backlund from us.

And I know that some people here hate on Myers but another 2 points for him tonight. He still looks really good and he's on a terrible team.

What makes me feel good - seeing the Oilers fail after the hockey panels say for the 500th time "they have turned the corner and are on their way up." Hahahahahahahahahaha! Love it.

I've said this so many times.... I don't want the oilers to be a bottom 5 team. I want the oilers to be a 10-13 team. I want them to be where we were for the past few years. I want them to give up assets for that one vet player who'll bring them that much closer to the playoffs. I don't want them to get a high draft pick and ruin another good young hockey player. I want them to spend a few years in mediocrity and spin their tires like the Flames did. I want to see the oilers win games and think they actually have something special only to just miss the playoffs. I don't care if they're better than us, just about everyone is at this point.

It blows me away how easy it is for that team to fool people. Oiler fans and media a like. One hot streak a season is all they need. No wonder Kevin Lowe and crew manage to keep their jobs.
It's good though, keep it up.

In Dallas...the Stars were trying to play for a 1-0 win...mistake...Sharp with a tip-in as the 'Hawks have controlled the puck for the 1st 10 minutes of the 3rd...1-1 10 to go in regulation...Lethonen has been very good, but, had no chance on the re-direct.
