If someone's going to complain about our cowboy heritage, I dunno... Invent a working Iron Man suit, then we'll be known for something else.

Ive always wondered why no goalie pays homage to the wilderness part of calgary. Mountains, bears, wolves, cougars are all just as if not more so associated to Calgary as Cowboys.

Can one of these people that sound utterly ungrateful that they live in Calgary and its cowboy traditions trade houses with me? You guys will love the dirty redneck oil patch town we live in. It's like Edmonton, but smaller. You guys will fit in well with that snobby attitude

I don't know anyone that associates those with Calgary too much. In NHL terms I would associate those with Colorado, Vancouver, and maybe even a lesser extent Minnesota well before Calgary.

Ugh. I was hoping he'd stick with his current design. Love the minimalist approach to it.

I was expecting this thread to be about how Berra keeps getting back in the saddle, day after day, despite getting routinely destroyed.

I love this mask! It incorporates the history of the west and then the subtle skyline and flags... good job

I like it. I think they should take the cowboy and bull off for a more minimal look and it would be perfect.

If I could do any aspect of the rodeo one one hundredth as well as the guys at the Stampede do, the last thing I'd feel was embarrassed. I'd probably be excited. I'd probably want everyone to see the calf I'd just tied up, and then I'd probably point to the women in the audience and say 'who's got next?'. But I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed by it.

You live in Calgary (and if not you cheer for a Calgary team) deal with it. Calgary screams rodeo and western style, it's a great mask.
P.s. Calf roping is awesome and I doubt you'd be able to do it
