I like both of them, but I'd rather see backs on the sven/huds line though. Suits him more the Joe

That's not the point. Backlund SHOULD be playing with the more talented Baertschi and Hudler. He's not because Hartley is stubborn.

Colborne and Backlund should be able to co-exist on our current roster, it isn't like we are stacked at the position. Their ice times should be reasonably close, if not more for Backlund, the way Colborne has played the last few.

[Edit: I haven't watched today's game and I didn't realize they are within a minute of each other]

Flames 0 PP, Ducks 4 already.
IMO the infractions are about equal, as well.
Nice job, zebras.

I'm not, following on here. The team is immune from criticism now? I cheer for the crest on the front not the players. Currently the players suck and not worth watching. I'm not a bandwagon fan. Been a Flames fan my whole life, born and raised here. Been on this site for over a decade. Other than Monahan I really don't see anyone that is worth watching on this team currently. They lack skill and other than the first couple games lack intensity. If you enjoy watching this product good for you, but I have higher expectations for this organization and will criticize it as I see fit.

Koivu made Breen look pretty close to a stationary pylon.

Lines juggled a bit, but might be just because of the PKs this period. Cammy-Stajan-Hudler, followed by Baertschi-Colborne-Stemp.

Berra seems like on a lot of shots that he has no idea where the puck is. Selanne's shot was a rocket that a lot of goalies would lose, but even on wide shots he seems slow to pick up where the puck has gone.

Breen needs to go back to the heat. Not even close to being ready to play at this level.

Damn frustrating watching the D collapse right into berras lap.

Heaven forbid we give Sven a chance with top talent.

Teams seem to be going for the blocker side nearly every shot now.

Brian Burke can't put his stamp on this team soon enough. Can't stand this soft, small, prideless roster that we've had to watch in recent years. It goes against everything that Calgarians are use to and like in a hockey team.

I'm not getting the Breen love either. Poor smith, he's 10 times better.
