What sucks the most is not seeing Monoman out there. At least he gives some hope that there actually is a future for this team.

Baertschi needs to be better, much better. Don't think he's had a drive yet where he hasn't turned it over with minimal contact.

We're missing two key top 6 forwards and two top 4 defensemen, and playing a very good and deep Anaheim team.

Yeah, expect an avalanche.

The thing to watch for in game like this even though you know your probably going to lose (outsiders perspective) is are guys like Backlund and Bart and Colborne stepping up their game because of opportunity, and which leaders/veterans are the guys that are going to step up and help out the young guys in the face of adversity.

Yes we suck, but its certainly not Ortio time, you put a young goalie who's not ready into a shooting gallery like this and you can suck the confidence that he has based on how well he's played on the farm right out.
