Excellent deal on Keurig k-cups for anyone looking.

Check out http://www.keurig.ca/ , free shipping and 28% off. Plus if you check out this thread at RFD, there are some ways to get even more savings with additional coupon codes.

Awesome deal, I ordered 147 cups for about 60$

There is also a really sweet winter jacket deal from Marks.

Here is the link to the jacket

Here is the link to the thread on RFD again discussing additional coupon savings

Those are the two deals that have caught my attention so far

Going out tonight laptop hunting. Seen a few queries in this thread but haven't seen any answers on a good one to buy. Perhaps the questions aren't specific enough. I'm looking at spending six to seven hundred dollars plus some extra for Microsoft Office.

I'm not sure I want a touch screen but it's a consideration. The laptop is mostly for the wife but I will use it occasionally. I want a 15 to 16 inch screen. So far I see some good prices on a Sony Vaio with the difference with touchscreen et. al. changing the price from $599 to $699. There is an ASUS as well in the same price range. Specs are pretty close though different in a few categories.

Can you go wrong with either of these companies? They seem to put out good products. Are there other better options in this price range?

Also Nick I'm really impressed with your service to the CP community.

Online only. I called the only store in Calgary that said it had stock (Beacon Hills) and they said the price in store was 150 and they would not match the online price. Quite adamant in fact....

Really? Especially since Target mentioned not doing price adjustments.
Looked like the $250 surface rt deal was the biggest draw.

Anyone have any thoughts if it would be better to get a TV now or boxing day? Looking for nothing too fancy, just the 46-52 size range for around $500-$800. Won't even be unpacking it till January so I don't mind waiting if the deals might be a little better on boxing day.

For quality and selection, buy now. For price, buy boxing day.

the best of both worlds usually comes around March, just before the new releases come out. The previous years models go at a great price. But with the price range you are looking at, I would think boxing week is your best option.

Bought two of those jackets. Hopefully the large will fit me and not be a massive fit but I guess we'll see. Didn't think I would buy anything at all day.

Bought a Microsoft Surface 32gb 10.6" tablet for $199, down from $350 at Future Shop. It's a gift for a customer, but a sweet deal.

Also just wondering anyone's opinion on sound bars instead of an actually surround sound setup. Room I will be putting TV and sound into is basically a bedroom that I will be using as my main TV room. So not a huge room and everything will be square and even with the walls so I would guess that a bar shouldn't have any issues bouncing the sound around to give it the sounds around feeling. This one here is on what seems to be a good deal...

Sound bars produce perfectly adequate sound especially in that setup and especially if you get a decent one. The better ones still have a separate wireless subwoofer. That's what I use and it's quite good. It's not the be all end all of home theatre, not even close, but for simplicity and a significant step up from the TV speakers, I'd suggest it.

Soundbars are cool for general room setups where you want nice sound but don't care about dealing with speakers and cables and such.

I use one in both my bedroom and my family room, but I use a typical higher-end receiver/sub/speaker setup for my home theatre.

They definitely work better in a boxy room if you are sitting in the sweet spot though, then it's almost creepy.

Thanks, I was able to purchase 2 of these and a $15 toque for $86.42 including shipping + GST.
I used 3 coupons:
WINTERSAVE2013 + NOV2013 + Email Newsletter 20% off code

I bought 2 because I don't know which size I will be. Typically Medium, but it sounds like on RFD these run a bit big so I may be a Small.
That is also why I added the toque, if I return one of these I don't want any issues with my order going below $50 and cancelling out some of the coupons I used.
I may just try selling the one that doesn't fit me though to recoup my money.

Thanks!

Order a brown one. Dirt colored for easy care, as it will be my spring and fall camping jacket.

One poster on RFD said he got a manager to put a note on his receipt to honor a price match.

Yeah, a lot of the people on that website are pretty much "scalpers." Wait for great deals, buy in large quantities, then resell them on Kijiji/Craigslist/ebay for a profit.

What sizes/colors did you order? I got M/Black and L/Brown, going to see which one fits me and my dad. Hopefully either somebody might want to swap or doing an exchange will be painless.
