Man kills wife with Dutch Oven
Quote:
Mr Brian Flannery was convicted of 2nd Degree Manslaughter today at Peckham Crown Court, receiving a 5 year suspended sentence for the accidental death of his wife, Gloria Flannery, by toxic suffocation, after he gave her a 'Dutch Oven' that went, as the Judge described it, 'horribly, horribly wrong'.

I am amazed when there hundreds of fake news sites that people dont do even a basic check if something is fake. In this case an origin date of 2007 should be a good clue.
Its no wonder our media and politics are such drivil when we are too stupid to think for ourselves.

I thought this was legit from the title - I mean they could have been camping and making cherry cobbler over a fire.

This current trend of poorly written link-bait "comedy/fake news" has gotta end. The world only needs one website like The Onion, and they've long ago moved into pure satire/comedy with no intention of fooling anyone.

Reason: Satire was the wrong word.

I don't even think you can call these articles satire. The intention of satire is to criticize or expose something, these are just made up stories with no intent to satire anything.

Yeah I should have said "piss poor comedy" instead. Satire was the wrong word.

The Onion does it so much better.

But the thing is, it’s not just me. You’d be amazed by how many times my friends and I have sat down and shared stories about falling for a sweet, interesting guy who seemed like real marriage material, only to find out later that he’s already in a serious relationship; or that he’s President James Monroe, who passed away in 1831; or that he’s available, handsome, and interested in us; or that he’s actually just a coat hanging from a door and only looked like a man from far away.
