I just picked up the book last week.

I saw the documentary last year when I was in Dieppe.

This sounds like a great event, wish I was closer!

David O'Keefe, I believe. Will try to post a link.

I will be going, would be nice to meet up after if anyone is interested.
He must drive a Delorean. His lecture was 42 years before the Dieppe Raid even took place...

Excellent lecture last night. About 50 people came out.
The author spoke just less than an hour, then took questions.

Some very interesting stories about his research. I believe his work has changed our "history" of what happened at Dieppe and why. There was some new information, certainly new to me; about the Essex Scottish and Calgary Tanks role. A very funny story about the German unit assigned to destroy all signals equipment during an attack.

He was well spoken and passionate.

Picked up his book, very excited to finish it.

Its too bad I missed this, I love this sort of thing.

Please let me know how the book is and if its worthwhile to add to my collection of history books.

I haven't started the book yet hopefully I can get to it soon.

My boys last year at Red Beach where their Grandpa came ashore that day. He was 20!
