Houston/Minny desperately need a QB. Houston is a mess right now. I could see Schaub/Andre Johnson asking to be dealt. Minny has an amazing RB and a couple of decent receivers but Ponder/Cassel etc are not starter quality.
Which one of those 2 prospects is supposed to go 1? Mariota?
If Mariota stays in, then you have Bridgewater as the clear-cut #1 (he's #1 in most eyes anyways). Mariota would definitely go #2 if he declares. After that it's a bit of a crapshoot. I'd think if Mariota doesn't declare then Manziel is likely the second QB off the board, but I don't know how many teams would be keen on spending a high draft pick on him.

Thanks. Haven't followed the prospects as closely this year. Hoping Minnesota gets the #1 pick.
Taking the wind was the smart decision considering that Peyton's passing rating into the wind last night going into overtime was 18.9, and that really Denver had 1 long TD drive. With that wind the Broncos basically had to be inside a 40-yard kick to be very confident, and a kick doesn't beat you. Belichick trusted his defense and it worked.
Really looks like there are only 4 great teams in the NFL, with Denver and New England in the AFC and Seattle and New Orleans in the NFC. Then you got teams like Kansas City, Carolina and Arizona who are a level or two below that. Then you got a whole bunch of mediocre teams fighting it out for the remaining spots.

How are KC and NE different? New England early this gear was a mirror image of Kansas City, their D won them games. Now they have lots of injuries on Defence and are winning with Brady having Gronk back on offence. I would say there is Denver, Seattle and New Orleans at the top.
Wow if Mariota stayed in school it sure would force a few teams to reach for QB's in the 1st round.
That being said it's a big risk for Mariota to stay at school, risk an injury and lost out on millions of dollars. Especially since he's being projected as a top 5 pick and a 10 spot drop is significant in terms of dollars.
Mariota is not going back to Oregon. He's one ACL tear away from losing millions, its not going to happen. More and more you're going to see underclassmen coming out because they have everything to lose and not much to gain from coming back.

That Patriots Broncos game was one of the best NFL games i have watched in a long time. Unbelievable comeback and anytime pouting Manning leaves the field in a huff is a good day.

Didn't get to see the game but sounds similar to the chargers broncos game last year that saw the chargers jump out to a huge lead at half time and then lose the game

Great game. Tough to lose it the way they did, but that's what happens when you can't trust your punt returner not to fumble so you insert the cagey veteran and he isn't used to it and screws up the communication. I feel bad for Tony Carter but that play was all on Welker.
Knowshon Moreno is, quite possibly, my favorite Bronco offensive player since Brandon Marshall. The intensity and toughness he plays with really gets me going. And he just doesn't fumble.
I wish Broncos defenders would stop getting injured. I'm starting to get concerned.

The Baltimore game last year. This one. Ugh, I'm getting sick of this.
Not really the same.
I don't feel nearly as bad about last night as I did after the Baltimore game. That one they gave away....3 times. Last night was a battle and the Broncos could have won very easily. Denver's defense was excellent in OT.
I don't know what I'm saying...I just don't think there is a common thread between the two games.
Plus...Tom Brady.

Well it's not good in KC right now. Surprisingly Hali's injury looks less serious than Houston's which was opposite of what I would have expected from the game. If Hali can get back than the defence can at least function, he's the guy who stirs the drink when it comes to their pass rush. Houston looks to be done with a dislocated elbow though, and that's still a big loss as he essentially forced teams to respect the rush from both sides. If they have to replace one of them, Houston is the guy that's easier to replace, but whoever comes in will not be the same caliber of player.

I felt like Broncos gave it away when they've should've won. Those turnovers (starting with Fumbleday that led to the Rodgers-Cromartie injury, although not really his fault) killed the mojo Broncos could've built and allowed Pats to get back into the game; which is very bad when it's Tom 'frickin' Brady. And then the way the game finished felt like Ravens touchdown last year. Couldn't believe that happened.

The Broncos biggest issue coming out of last night is they only trust Knowshon Moreno in the backfield. He played terrific last night but he took a beating and 37 carries a game is not a good recipe long term. New England has a similar problem with Ridley, leaving them only Vareen as a trustworthy option.

Yeah, this was my line of thought as they kept rolling Moreno out there no matter how many times he hobbled off the field.

It was a turnover game in very unforgiving conditions. Pats fumbled first to give the Broncos a big lead and then the Bronco fumbled late to initiate the comeback.
This is what makes football great. Turnovers can change the game in an instant and the defense can score. Doesn't exist in any other sport.
