I think it will be Luongo, Price, and ___, but Reimer is in the mix for that third spot for sure. So is Bernier.
neither of the leafs guys are in the conversation...post all the stats you want hockey canada doesn't make decisions off half a seasons stats. Neither of those guys are even starters on their own team, Reimer was so good for three years they went out and got a replacement?

Lou is on the team Reimer is not I would bet any sum of money on it

They're both starters. It's a tandem, like Fuhr and Ranford. And I said Luongo would make the team IMO. That third spot is wide open though.

Maybe. But Crawford plays for the best team in the league, and Smith plays for Phoenix. Both teams that make goalies look good.

I pray he doesn't get selected, but if he is in net, I hope Canada loses every game that he plays in.

Didn't get the chance to do all the Sat. games last night so here we go. I've noticed that SHGs are happening a bit more often. There were 2 games where the GTG was a SHG. The Hurricanes tied it in the 3rd and then the Bruins won it in OT. The Wild did the same with under 5 minutes left and then won in the SO 3-2 over the Jets. Harding was injured during the warmup so Nick Backstrom was back in goal for the win. The Habs for the second straight night build a 3-0 nothing and hang on for the 3-2 win this time over the Penguins. Pacrioretty scores 2 goals and so does James Neal. The Leafs win 2-1 in the SO over the Capitals. James Reimer was the star for the Leafs as he faced 50 shots and the Caps had 19 shots in the 3rd period to the Leafs 4.The Senators seem to have Detroit's number as they beat the Red Wings 4-2 at the Joe. Lehner was in goal for Ottawa who stopped 36 shots. There were lots of minor penalties in the 2nd and 3rd periods which led to a few 5 on 3s. The Flyers keep climbing up standings as they won 5-2 over the Islanders. The Blues are cruising along and pounded the Stars 6-1. The Rangers won 2-0 over the Predators in Nashville. Cam Talbot gets his 2nd straight SHUTOUT with 17 saves. The Kings and Avs went scoreless until the middle of OT where McGinn scored the winner, 1-0 Avs. Varlamov gets the SHUTOUT with 19 saves. Scrivens continues his strong play with 32 saves. The Sharkies beat the Devils 2-1 in reg time. A freak shot hit the back of Brodeur's head late in the 3rd period. Luckily, he was okay and finished the game. The Ducks keep flying high as they defeated the Coyotes 4-2. The loss was the 1st reg home loss this season for the Coyotes. LOL to the Canucks for those 2 quick goals scored by the Bhawks in the final period as Chicago won 2-1 and ruined HNIC's perfect night for canadian teams. This game showed that Crawford should be the #1 guy for Team Canada in the Olympics and Loserongo should be relegated to #3 status at best.

It's not a half season. In Reimer's case., it's 3 years.

And what does it matter if they got Bernier? It has no baring on how he played. He's proving they didn't need to get him.

Even Bernier put up great numbers last season and this isn't some fluke 25 games for him either.

When you have two guys playing as great as Reimer/Bernier, it's tough to be the clear-cut #1.
