That is some kind of porous run defense.

Time of possession has caught up to the Dinos defense.

at 31yd means they need to force a turnover. inside the last 3 mins, and scoring twice in the in 3 minutes subtracting whatever Laval kill off the clock on this drive, that would be tough. force a turnover, score and go for 2 point convert, thats what they need

They competed in this game better than I expected; granted Laval made it hard for themselves early with the missed FGs. Still, good sign for the Dinos program with a young roster. Hopefully they'll win the Vanier in the near future!

The Dino's are much like the Buffalo Bills circa 1990-94. Can't win the big game.

Yup, considering the turnover of players, totally unexpected. Heck, did the Laval QB even throw two passes in the 2nd half?

A disappointing but unsurprising result. I haven't seen the game yet but the score suggests to me the D played a whale of a game and the O just wasn't able to put it together often enough.

Laval has athlete students and Calgary has student athletes.

Laval owned the trenches on both sides of the ball for the most part...that was the biggest difference in this one.

Made it to half time. It's really amazing the Dinos weren't down by a couple TDs after the first quarter. Defensively they stepped up in the second quarter

Dinos played a pretty good second half, defense played tough but they couldn't stop the run. A couple unfortunate turnovers on offense and Laval was just the physically stronger team today

Why is there such a difference? Are they playing older players?
