How is @Monahan20 not first to shoot in every shootout for the @NHLFlames? Kid is sick! #niceW

Good game by Baertschi tonight. Seems to be getting his confidence back up. Hopefully will lead to him shooting the puck more.

Backlund had a good 3rd period. Hope he gets played a bit more over the upcoming stretch.

Win is a win, but I've felt better after some losses. What a crap play by Squid, which seemed contagious. I suppose we can win in a shootout, now, though.

BTW, I believe this game officially made us the worst defensive team in the league.

Somehow I can't find it in me to be that upset though.

Baertchi looked amazing tonight, as did Moneyhands with Hudler. Backlund looked very good with Blair Jones. So nice to see our young guys leading the way!

Berra looks a bit lost at times and I'm still not very comfortable with any lead with him in net but I do think giving him the confidence of knowin he's THE #1 guy will really help his confidence going forward and he will only get better.

Barely win in a shootout. Should have been a regulation win.

I still think Smid should play with T.J. Brodie and Wideman-Russell should go back together. I said it so many times before Butler can be effective playing than 10 minutes rather than more 20 minutes.

Nice to see Blair Jones playing well in his first game back in the NHL. It looks like TJ Galliardi will have a hard time going back in the lineup with the way Jones played. I love the young guys like Baertschi, Backlund, Bouma, Colbounw and Monahan played well tonight. Vets need to start stepping up and be a good examples for the young guys.

I wouldn't say horrible. He's had a lot chances but seems snake bitten when it comes to the puck going into the net.

He has had a lot of shots, that's true. 18 in 6 games, in fact.

Defensively awful though.

The young guys were good-great.

All the vets were bad. Cammy, Matty, Stempy & Wideman were brutal tonight.
