On replay Colborne did a great job screening Thomas on the initial shot. The more he plays the more I like Joe.

I am always cautious when giving big praise to unestablished players like Colborne, but I would imagine that people will be saying one of the big turning points in our rebuild was getting him for a 4th round pick. The guy has a lot of tools and just has to figure out how to do it consistently in the NHL.
Just to be clear, our draft picks like Monahan will be bigger value long term, but the trade for him was a great management of assets.
