This team really had some jump and played some damn good hockey against many of the best teams in the league.....now they look like a discombobulated pile of turds playing against the rest of the NHL's shat stains.
Ugly, ugly stuff the last couple weeks.

Hmm...somewhere along the way this team forgot hot to make smart passes and exit their zone. Second time in less than 2 weeks the Flames have been held to 3 shots in a period.

I think there is a strong correlation between Gio's injury and the downturn in the team's play

They still had a couple good games after that (he got hurt in LA on the california road trip). They really seem to have gone in the tank since the Smid trade to be honest. Probably just a coincidence.
