That GWG was on Hudler as far as I'm concerned. Lazy lazy lazy.

Bang on, I think this is the one aspect of his game that is holding him back from being a true No. 1 goalie in the NHL. Clint Malarchuk better get to work on this aspect of Berra's game. It should be something that can be corrected. Otherwise, you have to love his competitiveness and his movement. He's big, mobile, and agile, all the necessary tools to be a very good goalie, he just needs some refinement.

Not his fault that nobody else was making any noise. He was doing his bit, just in a vacuum.

Yup, it can't be pinned on Backlund or Berra. Hudler took a penalty then didn't get back in time allowing Columbus to have the extra man.

ekblad or reinhart.....
hard to imagine we don't fall in the bottom 2 spots in the league. the flames have played teams playing the second of a back to back for a full week now (including this fri's game vs the panthers), yet struggle to push the other team and make them skate.

Not sure why Hudler didn't go to the bench since he was obviously hurt and couldn't stride. Better chance of the player coming on (cheating and leaving a bit early) to get back in time to stop that.
But, yeah poor execution to give up the rush in the first place.

Hudler looked hurt and was labouring up the ice.
Total fire drill before the winner though, poor shot by Brodie (reminded me of Phaneuf's shoot it into the shinpads days) and then Brodie and Smid got all crossed up.
Backlund made a nice play to almost save the day.

Flames games started out extremely entertaining (well, minus that crapfest against the Yotes), but what happened? I was really enjoying watching these guys and now...not so much. You don't need to win, but entertainment wise, ugh.
