Well relative to expectations he's easily been the best, and I would say you could argue he's been the most steady, so game in game out most reliable guy back there. It's not that far fetched of a comment.

I don't know. I like Russel, but "the best" is a bit of an overstatement, I think. Wideman is a much better player than Russell. Brodie is a much better player than Russell.
