So is Colborne = Holland.
Must be close in value if
Flames 4th or 3rd rounder close to leafs 2nd or third rounder.
I guess leafs were under duress in both moves however (too many centres, not enough centres).

Completely different situation. Colborne had to go through waivers to be sent down. Holland is exempt from waivers. Since Colborne wasn't good enough to make the Leafs it was either waivers or trade him. All else being equal, Holland had more value given his waiver status alone.

Holland did have good value. He is a better prospect than Colborne.

Based on what? They have very pretty similar numbers

Holland just isn't waiver eligible yet which is good for the leafs

In the minors they didn't.

Colbourne looked better as a prospect before his terrible wrist injury.
