This is the least entertaining Oiler game of the season. As many goals scored in the first as they've scored in their previous 6 home games.

Oof MT @GeorgeRichards Peter Horachek reminded Panthers that team has never won at GM/Rogers Arena. "I have" responded Tim Thomas

The lone divisional game on this busy night is the Blackhawks-Avalanche and Colorado now leads 4-0 at the end of the second period. I have to keep looking at the new division and conference setup because it looks incorrect.

A final score of former division rivals, Predators-Red Wings, where the Predators upset the Red Wings 2-0 at Joe Louis Arena.

Former conference rivals, BJs-Oilers, the Oilers out shot the BJs 15-3 in the first period.

The stinkin' Leafs won 5-2 over the Islanders. The Habs won 6-2 over the Wild.

Solid dive by Yakupov there. How that doesn't warrant a penalty is a little bewildering.

And the dive results in a Yakupov PP goal. Disgusting.

Oilers going to win two in a row against a couple bottom feeders. Safe to say everything has turned around.Time to give Lowe the extension he well deserves.

Boy the wheels sure have fallen off for the Jackets. They look just like the Jackets of old. Feel bad for their fans as one has to wonder what it's going to take for that franchise to get some traction and turn into a real contender.

Bobrovsky was amazing for them last year, while most expected his play to drop off a bit, he really hasn't been the difference maker they need.

They are also currently missing their two main offensive weapons in Gaborik and Horton.

Yea, I thought it was a bit weird that they were mock chanting Thomas after what happened in the 2011 playoffs and at the time were losing 1-0, looks like it worked though, they scored like 1 minute later haha.

I don't think the Oilers twitter account should be going at it with anyone, unless they're bragging about getting another high draft pick again this year.

@VanCanucks Who, him? http://t.co/KF3SzVkQuG

@EdmontonOilers - Maybe leave the trash talking to teams who make the playoffs? #sevenyeardrought

Are the Oilers players still celebrating every goal like it's a cup winner?
