I think Hartley will still find some flaw with Baertschi's play tonight, despite everything.
Bouma, wow. What didn't he do right?
Berra was good, but not great, faced way too many shots though. He'll burn out before the olympic break at this rate.

Runs a pick like its an AHL road game with one official. Love it.

Only caught the third period and OT/shootout.
4th goal was all Baertschi. Keeps the puck alive with some good work along the boards and then causes havoc in front of the net to allow Hudler's shot to deflect in off Scheifele. Don't look now, but he's on a three game point streak.
Interesting choice to have Colbourne go first on the shoot out. Sweet move by him to score.
Monahan keeps finding new ways to impress.
Flames may want to give a few less shots. You don't win very many games where you give up 47 shots on goal

Any reason Bouma should ever not play in favour of Jackman? He is more skilled, has more speed, is more physical and can actually play on the PK... He reminds me of a Prust-lite.
Berra played good, wish he'd work on that rebound control a bit... but a +900 SV% is better than what we've been getting all season.

I said that exact thing to my earlier in the game. Bouma is far better offensively, defensively, and physically.

I noticed that Backlund was benched for what looked like the entire 3rd period.
Guess since Sven was playing well Bon decided to switch to his other whipping boy.
Didn't notice anything noticeably terrible by him. He was on for one goal

I recall a CBJ/Flames shootout with McE in net that went to something like 10 or 11 shooters.
EDIT - I don't typically call out fan bases, but the crying over the officiating on Jets HFboards is amazing. I lurk on a few and it is one of the worst reactions I've seen. The Blackhawks fans were really classy after losing...but the Jets boards...I can't help but it was an act of the hockey gods to let the Flames win.

It was Byfuglien who ran the pick. Bouma had the ice.

Sven - Take a bow, easily his best game of the year. Keep it up and Hartley can't do anything to stop you.
Brodie - Coming into his own as a top four dman, brilliant game by him.
Monahan - With the SO winner and was buzzing with his line mates all night long.
Bouma - Easily his best since he went shot block crazy, this is the type of intensity he needs to show.
Berra - Can't fault him on any of the goals, did very well in the SO.
Colborne - Has some sick hands, dude needs to work on his sniping and he can be a decent player.
Russell - He's a mini Dan Boyle, just keeps getting better and better.
Vets - Cammi was all over the ice, some good some bad but you can tell his wants to win here. Stajan, he's been decent most of the year but then he has a game like this and you think this guy will be a great third line veteran center moving forward, great game. Galiardi, nice wheels, drew a penalty.
Backlund - I think his time with the Flames is nearing an end, would not be surprised if he's moved rather quickly.
Very entertaining game.

Also, I know it's just one game, but I think Berra looked really solid in the shootout...great positioning, and an amazing pad save.
The shootout is one part of the game where not having Kipper may not be a bad thing. It was the worst part of his game.
