I'm watching the East feed and the announcers made that sound like 2 Flames were assaulting Buf. He even said that the linesman finally came in to help Buf after holding off 2 players single handed. Looked to me like he was the one roughing up 2 players.

Totally OT, but I'm heading to south Florida for thanksgiving coming up and this year there is a rare overlap with Chanukkah. Just found out from the folks-in-law that we're headed to Chanukkah on ice at the Florida Panthers game.

Scrum at the end of the period involved all players on the ice. Buf just wouldn't let it go, had Butler on him and he kept on grabbing Smid until both Smid and the linesman fell to the ice. Pretty stupid play by him.

Buff laid a shoulder into Galiardi after time expired. Everyone in red swarmed, so everyone in blue started pushing and shoving back. Buff then started grabbed Smid's jersey from behind, who was being held by an official, and trying to drag him down while Butler tried to pull him off. He eventually succeeded in pulling Smid and the ref down to the ice. Winnipeg cheered him like he was a god.
