That Gif is indeed from today, and my only guesses are someone either said Happy Hour was closing or that dinner was ready. Not much else is gonna get Rob rumbling and tumbling like that.

He thought his Brother was in an altercation with protesters and was running to get his punches in and bowled over a Councillor in the process.
Quote:
Toronto City Council broke into chaos Monday afternoon after Mayor Rob Ford seemingly charged towards a spectator in the galley, knocking over a city councillor in the process, while his brother Doug Ford screamed “scumbags” at the public.
The crowd started yelling “shame, shame, shame” to the mayor, who began shouting back.
The mayor then took off running, hitting Councillor Pam McConnell, knocking her backwards, before catching her and helping her steady herself.
Councillor Paula Fletcher asked the mayor to apologize to Ms. McConnell, whose lip was swollen, she said. The mayor said he was trying to rush over to get to Councillor Ford, whom he thought was involved in an altercation.
“I apologize to anyone I accidentally hit when my brother was in an altercation over there,” said Mayor Ford.
Is that gif from today? What the hell is he doing?
It appears that Ford was rushing to go yell at someone in the public gallery, misjudged his width, and knocked the Councillor over, then tried to hold her up.
Good hell. I really feel for Toronto, and especially those in council chambers who have to deal with this on a daily basis. They almost need hazard pay.
They act like school yard bullies who have never grown up. That many voters still think that the Fords are good for the city, would be laughable if it wasn't scary. We have lost all rights to laugh at the dumb Americans for their political choices.

I wouldn't go that far.
On the whole, our political choices are still much better than the USA's.
