Yeah, and most times I understand why they're doing it especially when there's a few minutes left or if it's a blowout. But in this instance he didn't really do anything. Orr was the one who really was acting like an idiot as soon as there was a scuffle. He should be tossed if anyone.

Bad turnover by Marcus Kruger...Craig Smith cashes in 4-0 Preds.

Kane comes right back for 'Hawks, 4-1 late 2nd in Nashville.

The Pens have had a lot of trouble scoring goals lately and Sid has fallen off a cliff in the last 3 weeks.

Pirri scores a PP goal for the 'Hawks...Stalberg answers 15 seconds later...they rarely ever see this much scoring in Nashville! 5-2 Preds, 11 minutes to go...

Three straight losses now and a really tough part of their schedule coming up.

12,562 in Glendale tonight. Bad for a weekend game. And two top teams.

Anyone think Scott will get a fine/suspension for his comments about "Princess Phaneuf"?

Haha...here is the full quote:

"My right leg took a beating today. I blocked a shot, then [Phaneuf] bailed on me and all of a sudden I'm not allowed to hit him anymore. He's Princess Phaneuf. It's a joke. My leg's fine. Everything's good. It's just something where I guess you're not allowed to hit the star guys anymore in this league."

Thing is that he never really hit him, he was going to until Phaneuf bailed.

I kind of agree with Scott, he didn't do anything wrong.

Yep. I somehow knew the Avs weren't real. Even at 12-1-0, it just didn't make sense with that blue line. And the goaltending drama tends to not help things in that regard, either.

However with the cushion they built up, they'll still be in the hunt for the playoffs for a good chunk of the season.

Not in the west. This is the Roman Turek led Flames all over again. Patrick Roy is not a good coach.

Rookie goalie Cam Talbot makes 22 saves and gets the SHUTOUT as the Rangers beat the Habs 1-0 in reg time. Ryan Callahan get the only goal of the game on the PP in the 2nd period. Brodeur is showing that he can still play as the Devils win 4-1 over the Penguins. The Leafs win 4-2 and split the weekend series with the Sabres. The Islanders win in the SO over Detroit 5-4. Nice win by Phoenix over Tampa 6-3, the Lightning can still score goals without Stamkos. The Blues beat the Hurricanes 4-2 but the weird thing in this game was with the Blues up 2-0 in the 2nd period. Carolina gets a penalty for too many men and then score 2 SHGs on the same penalty 57 seconds apart! The upset games were the Panthers 4-1 road win in Colorado and the Predators 7-2 home win over the Bhawks!

No chance of a suspension. Maybe a minor fine, but my bet is, he won't even get that. It's minor stuff.

Let's face it... they're both complete boneheads.

Fact is, Scott didn't even do anything at all.
