Awesome hand-eye by baertschi to knock that puck out of the air and it lead to wideman's goal.

I think your TV set may need adjusting. Sven's played great

I honestly don't get the Sven hate. He's been extremely noticeable. Was great last game despite the horrible team effort, and possibly even better tonight. More dangerous looking than any of the Oil's big 4. What more can you ask?
Looks like he's on the verge of going on another tear I think. Quietly points in 2 straight now. And he might not be done for tonight. Judging by his ice time, looks like he's catching on to what the coaches were looking for, too.

He hasn't been a superstar or anything tonight, but he's been pretty good, competing really hard. You bench him after tonight to teach him some sort of lesson you might as well trade him because he won't know which way is up or down anymore, his head will be mush.

Poor Childrens hospital. When's the last time we got a shutout? 2 years ago?

Even though some of what Baertshi is doing doesn't work - I'm happy to see him trying things! He will learn what works and what doesn't if he tries. I'd rather see him be unsuccessful a bit than shut him down completely always looking for the safe play.

Ah true enough, I'm usually the first person to pull out the ol' cliche 'There's still plenty of hockey to be played' so guess I should stfu, haha
Easy to get a little over excited to be actually winning a game after a 5 game losing streak

Sven is doing well, he just has to be careful when leading the rush not to turn it over

Not butt hurt but he is a Calgarian and a Flames season ticket holder and one of the best humans you will ever meet so talking trash about him is lame.

Really? I basically have the opposite opinion. It looked like he was being rewarded a lot of ice time for his strong play so far this game.

CBC seems more focused on finding ways to compliment the Oil's effort instead of giving the Flames (and their youngsters) some credit where it's due. Can't tell if it's just sympathy or the whole station has a hard on for that team, no matter how horrid it looks.
