Wotherspoon taken heavily into the board from behind by Ben Eager. Blood on the ice and Wotherspoon took a couple of minutes to get back up, needed to be helped by teammates. No call on the play.

Hey Blood, hows it going? Any guesses on who gets the first Heat goal?

Does anyone else find the Heat website ridiculously slow? It's like you're accessing through a 64k modem

So no score yet?

Good Article about Heat captain Dean Arsene on ahl.com's front page.

Quote:
"It makes for a lot of fun coming to the rink when you’re winning. I get to play in my hometown. We have a coaching staff that is very patient with us, and wants us to grow as individuals and as players. Anytime you can combine that coaching staff that really cares with a bunch of guys you want to go to war with, it make for a good time."

Hey TB. I'm going to go with....Hanowski, I guess.

But honestly I'm not giving a lot of attention to the radio feed. Too busy reading pointless arguments in other threads

2-0 OKC after two periods. CJ Stretch with both goals.

Go Heat Go!

Heat have great third periods... I hope they've got another one in the bag.

edit: half way through the third... no goals yet for the Heat.

edit: surprised that Reinhart was put back on the line and Ferland got bumped..

edit: Paul Byron SCORES! Heat within one!

edit: Braden Lamb takes a penalty and the Barons score to regain their 2 goal lead. Astle thinks it wasn't a penalty.

Judging from the Heat in game twitter feed seems like a slow game. Down by 1 now with Byron beating Byrzgalov through the five hole. Down 1 with plenty of time to go.

5:07 to go... Lots of streaks on the line, 2 goals needed.

edit: Wotherspoon did not return to the game.

If anyone's listening to the game. Did Wotherspoon return from the hit earlier?

Scoresheet shows him as in and with a shot on net.

Ferland has been producing on a line with Street and Jones with Reinhart called up. Sending him back down meant the lines got shuffled and Ferland lost his top line partners.

It looks like Tyler didn't require hospitalization and is travelling with the team, but that's all I can really find out about the injury.

How it sounded and the reports of the hit, not being hospitalized sounds like a huge plus in itself.
